ADVERTISING

I haven't decided yet whether advertising is beneficial or not.We can see a lot of products of the same category and we can choose the best for us.Another example because of the companies' competition we can also buy products cheaper than usually.They generally make advertising about discount of prices and we are informed about new products,films,contest etc.However,they usually cheat us.Products may not be as good as we show in advertising.another bad example is effects on children and poor people.They don't care about people's economic condition.Maybe they can't afford.This situation makes them upset.As you see there are some positive some negative effects.If the companies don't cheat and care about children,this negative effects won't be a problem.

    yes betül companies should care especially children because they can be easly affected by bad advertisings. but beside them, there are also good examples you know:) and i think benefits of them are more:) and i like your writing ..

    Generally we all mentioned same points. But we aware that some products are not as good as they are in the adv. So there is no problem about it but as you mentioned they should care about children and poor people =))

    Yes I agree with Gülçin. Ads affect people especially children. They dont care about how people or children are affected. I think the only thing that they care about is earning money.

    but their job is "advertising" sure it's bad effects can't be ignored but if you want to sell chocolate you must attract children.. also you must remain blind the poor cause your aim is just sell the product. this is my position .

    I don't know what to say. Because I am thinking like Betül do.There are good lines, and bad lines.And whatever we say,advertisements will go on affecting children,poors,us. So if they don't care about it, we must be careful about ads.

    Actually I agree with all of you.May be positive effects of ads are more.But it is not ignored that negative effects of ads on children or poor people.Like Betül said that they can't afford them.
