Food and Region
Abstract:
Every country or every city has some characteristic features that seperate them from other cities or countries. The term culture is the sign of the city or region. Culture includes too many things in it. One of them is the food. In this project teachers and students become acquainted with the regions and their special foods.
Age range:
10-16
Goals:
-Students will be able to recognize other regions' speacial foods
-Students will be able to enchance their cultural knowledge.

Work Process:
december:
1.preparing logo and poster with using web 2.0 tools and introduce the project other people at the school
2.adding students onto twinspace
3.each school from each region will introduce themselves and their regions using web 2.0 tools like padlet.
january:
4.each project partners will prepare a presentation of a food which belong their regions.
february:
5. presentations will be uploaded to twinspaces so other participants will recognize other regions' food.
6. All participants will attend an online meeting and share their opinions about the foods.
march:
7. Students will prepare an online recipe about their regions' food and share them into twinspaces
8. All the recipes will be collected and published with e-book.
9. Regional Food Recipes Journal will be published and send to all partner schools.
Expected Results:
we expect that our students will know each regions' special food.
Thanks to this project, cultural transmission will happen.
Online e-book will be prepared. Also a journal which includes recipes that students has shared will be send to all partner schools.
